Gambit Golf Club Practice and Learning Facility

The Gambit Golf Club Practice and Learning Facility is the only true indoor practice center in the area. The Facility holds two state-of-the-art golf simulators. These simulators are used for practice, playing, and golf lessons. The simulators show a number of important details in the swing:

• Club Path
• Club Face Angle
• Club Head Speed
• Ball Speed
• Smash Factor
• Spin Rates

Other factors are recorded for your practice and learning needs. It is recommended that reservations are made in advance for simulator use.

Nine-hole practice green

The Facility also house a nine-hole practice green which rolls at about a ten on the Stimpmeter and has many subtle breaks so you can practice several different types of putts. There are also nets with mats that simulate rough and fairway lies, and a Hillside Practice mat for those uneven lies.

Golf lessons are available using the simulator and include video analysis. The Gambit has two of Southern Illinois's finest instructors in Bob McBride and Bruce Dowell. Please call 618-658-6022 to set an appointment.
